Tony Gits AS Jolly Roger 'Scene 1'

On the fourth of July some years ago I was working a gig in the Clear water Florida area when someone in the audience suggested to the manager of the venue that I auditioned for a part in a movie which was scheduled to begin shooting in the Tampa bay area. He gave me the information and encouraged me to go for a screen test. I had never been in a movie before and had nothing to lose. When I got there to my surprise there was about fifty other movie hopefuls trying to get this part, I wanted to go back home but a little voice told me to stay and try, so I did. Some of them had their body guards and managers with them! After sitting in a room for a few minutes a lady gave me a script and told me to learn the lines. The script was about a man who appeared to a little boy, giving him advice on how to become a better person and to appreciate his grandfather who had been a football player. The movie covered the boys trip to Florida to visit his grandfather. I completed the screen test and to my surprise a few days afterwards I got the part. The movie was an NFL Films production about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
